For more than 30 years, I've called Vancouver home, not from behind a desk, in its neighbourhoods, and alongside the people who make this city extraordinary.

Many people know me as RollerGirl. But what matters most isn't the skates, it's the conversations, the friendships, and the belief that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

I've spent my life connecting with people from every background. I've celebrated our city's diversity, supported local businesses, stood up for civil liberties, and spoken out when I believed something wasn't right. Whether someone is thriving or struggling, I believe everyone deserves to be heard.

Compassion isn't just a value, it's how I live my life.
